These terms cover the Gavo Studios Drop 01 list and anything you buy from us. By joining the list or placing an order, you agree to them.
Who we are
Gavo Studios, registered and based in Malta. We sell direct. There is no reseller, no distributor and no third-party store.
Reach us at support@gavostudios.com. One person reads it. Expect a reply within two working days.
Read this before you choose CUT
The CUT collar is cut open and left raw. That cut cannot be undone, so a CUT piece cannot be returned or exchanged because you changed your mind, and the 14-day cancellation right below does not apply to it. Choose CUT only if you are certain.
The INTACT collar is not excluded. Order INTACT and you keep the full 14-day right to cancel.
This is about changing your mind and nothing else. If a CUT piece turns up faulty, damaged in transit or not what the page described, your rights are the same as on any other order. See faulty or wrong pieces.
Cancelling your order
If you live in the EU you have 14 days to cancel and send the piece back, for any reason, without giving one. The 14 days run from the day you, or someone you nominated who is not the courier, physically receive the order. The CUT collar is the one exception, described above.
TELLING US
Email support@gavostudios.com before the 14 days are up, with your order number and a line saying you are cancelling. Plain words are enough. If you want a form of words, use this one:
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale for the following goods: [order number, size, collar]. Ordered on [date], received on [date]. [Your name]. [Your address].
Sending it back without telling us first still works, as long as what arrives makes it clear you are cancelling. Telling us first is faster.
SENDING IT BACK
Post it within 14 days of telling us. Use a tracked service and keep the receipt: until it reaches us, proof of postage is the only thing that protects you.
You pay the return postage. We do not cover it and we do not collect. We will send you the return address when you write to us.
THE CONDITION IT COMES BACK IN
Handle it the way you would in a shop. Try it on. Do not wear it out, wash it, alter it or remove the labels. If it comes back worth less because of handling that goes beyond checking the fit, we can take that loss off your refund and we will tell you the amount and why.
Every piece is distressed by hand, so holes, frayed edges, uneven fading and marks are how it was made and how it was photographed. None of that counts against you, and none of it counts as a fault.
YOUR REFUND
We refund within 14 days of you telling us you are cancelling. We can hold the money until the piece is back with us or you show us proof you posted it, whichever comes first.
You get the price of the piece plus the standard delivery charge you paid to receive it. If you paid extra for a faster service, we refund the standard rate, not the upgrade. The money goes back to the card or method you paid with. No fee, no store credit.
Faulty or wrong pieces
Separate from cancelling, and on top of it. If a piece arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or is not the size, collar or item you ordered, you have two years under Maltese and EU law to ask us to put it right. That applies to CUT and INTACT alike.
Email us with your order number and photographs. We will repair or replace it where we can. Drop 01 is 100 pieces with no restock, so if there is nothing left to replace it with, you get your money back. We pay the postage on anything returned as faulty.
Nothing on this page takes away rights the law gives you as a consumer. Where these terms and the law disagree, the law wins.
The list
Joining the list means we’ll text you when Drop 01 opens. It does not reserve a product or guarantee you a purchase — Drop 01 is limited to 100 pieces and sells first-come, first-served when it opens.
Messages
By joining you consent to receive recurring automated marketing texts from Gavo Studios at the number you provide, delivered through our SMS provider, Klaviyo. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time or HELP for help. How we handle your number is described in our Privacy Policy.
Brand & content
The Gavo Studios name, wordmark, imagery, and designs are ours. Please don’t copy or reuse them without permission.
No warranty
The list and this site are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We aren’t liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from your use of them, to the extent the law allows.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malta, and any dispute is subject to the Maltese courts.
